MidSummer Night's Peek From Cutt

To be honest, I want to leak these songs so bad but I'll try... TRY not to. Listening to these songs, you can get a sense that is both familiar and, at the same time, eccentric.

For instance, the one song that is out for the general public, the intro, features a piano sample and a drum pattern that would hit you as something familiar but in a culture saturated with 808s and synths, very much to the left. But when Cutt's voice comes into play, you can begin to realize that this is truly a Southern style. A slow, silky pace and a true grit and twang decorates the Cutt Dogg catalog, complimented by introspective and thought provoking lyricism.

There are some really interesting concepts on this album, which is probably the first thing you would think when you hear 'here comes the bride' in the middle of any MC's project. Each concept is well thought out and tastefully done. This album feels like a synergy of originality and authenticity that could only come from Cutt Dogg so when it is released, collect it. It's rare art.
