Kendrick Lamar Vs. The South?

2013's verse of the year HAS to be Kendrick Lamar's verse on "Control". Too many rappers are being set off because of this verse. Papoose, desperately, tried to gain favor with the hip-hop gods, again. He was last seen 1 month ago, flexing his response but once the people realized that those who weren't mentioned should feel the most butthurt, there was no more gas for Pap.

Fast forward just a little further in time and rappers begin to just take it in the spirit of competition. More and more, interviews and responses to the "Control" verse would mention that spirit as his or her muse. Beware The South falls more so in that category on a "the south got somethin' to say" vibe (word to Outkast). The song starts off with the "Control" beat but then switches to an old school Outkast instrumental so it stands out more among the response.
